  3. Document Control for STO Events: This lesson will cover the management of engineering and technical documentation, including the essential aspects of STO workface documentation. You will also learn about effective strategies for documentation distribution and control, as well as the importance of ensuring compliance and proper archiving of documentation throughout the process.

  4. Document Control for Capital Projects: This lesson will cover the management of engineering document control in Capital Projects, emphasizing the importance of balancing engineering and field documentation. You will also explore effective distribution and control strategies, and the critical aspects of project documentation archiving and retrieval.

  5. The Planner's Role in Document Control:  This final lesson focuses on your critical role in integrating technical and field documentation, creating field-ready work packages, implementing document distribution and control strategies, and embracing continuous improvement and best practices.


Each lesson includes practical exercises, case studies, and knowledge checks to reinforce key concepts and build applicable skills. While theory provides necessary foundation, this course emphasizes practical application that you can implement immediately in your planning role to enhance document control practices.
